Sir:

Your favor of the 3rd inst., with the enclosed hand-bill, has reached me.

I cannot offer you any terms for the exhibition of your Panorama in this City, neither can I give you any encouragement about coming here. If you were passing this way, you could exhibit your Panorama; but whether the Exhibition would be sufficiently remunerative to satisfy you for your trouble and expense, or not, I am not prepared to say.
