Dear Brother:

We have received the name of Henry Barney who has volunteered from your place to go to the Colorado.

This Brother had better go down South, and select and secure some land, and put in grain, etc., right away, that he may have something provided to sustain his family when they shall go there.

When he reaches St George he should report himself to Brother Erastus Snow, who will be able to counsel him as to where he shall settle.
