Dear Brother:

Yours of the 11th instant has just come to hand, informing us of your willingness to go on the Mission to the Sandwich Islands.

We have taken your circumstances into consideration, and have concluded that it will be better for you not to go at this time, as there are many who have plenty of means to go without cramping themselves and we think you can be of more service at home.
