Elder James Richey,
Washington,

Dear Brother:-

Your letter of April 11th, on the subject of a Cotton Press, and the best kind for our purpose, and offering to make such a one for $250. and to warrant it to give satisfaction, has just been handed me by Bro. A M. Myler.

I would like you to make me a good, screw Cotton Press such as you describe --one that you can warrant to give satisfaction. I want it made neat and nice or I shall not accept it. I will pay you for it on the terms you propose, namely, in stock with a portion to be applied on your general tithing.

With love, I remain Your Brother

Brigham Young
